Sean McLoughlin, better known as JackSepticEye, has raised over $100,000 for the Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance in just five and a half hours.
The Brighton-based YouTuber set the goal to raise $80,000 with the help of his viewers during his February livestream.

The energetic gaming YouTuber best known for his Let’s Play videos and heartfelt vlogs has raised money for multiple charities since launching his channel in 2012. This year to date, McLoughlin has raised over $300,000 for mental health charities, including over $225,000 raised for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention during an eight hour livestream in January.
With over 18 million subscribers to date and over 2.5 million views for his 2018 charity livestreams alone, McLoughlin has previously created videos to help raise awareness about a number of sensitive issues through his vlogs and playthroughs of games tackling sensitive issues, including depression, anxiety, cancer and the death of a child.
McLoughlin’s donation page will be live until 4th March for further donations for the DBSA.
