  • Text SHOUT to 85258. Shout is a 24/7 text messaging service that offers support if you are in crisis.

Mind

Mind – a mental health charity that offers support, raises awareness and campaigns for change.

  • Call their support line on 0300 102 1234 (9am-6pm Monday-Friday except bank holidays).
  • Call their innfo line on 0300 123 3393.

CALM

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) – a suicide prevention charity offering advice and support.

  • Call their support line on 0800 58 58 58 (open from 5pm–midnight, 365 days a year).
  • You can also contact them during this time through a livechat or Whatsapp.

SANE

SANE – a mental health charity providing specialist emotional support, guidance and information.

  • You can call them for support with your mental health on 0300 304 7000 (open every day from 4pm–10pm).

Switchboard

Switchboard – a LGBTQIA+ support line that provides support with anything related to sexuality and gender identity.

  • Call them on 0800 0119 100 (open from 10am–10pm).

  • Chat to them through their online web chat (available from 6pm).

The Silver Line

The Silver Line – a helpline run by Age UK to provide a listening ear to those over the age of 55.

  • You can call them on 0800 470 8090 (open 24/7).

Childline

Childline – a confidential line for children to call if they need help or advice about any topic.

The Survivors Trust

The Survivors Trust – a service which aims to support and empower survivors of rape, sexual violence and/or childhood sexual abuse.
