Jess Jones, Jo Love and Lauren Marks release special episode of What I Wish I Had Known, to mark Mental Health Awareness Week

What I Wish I Had Known About Maternal Mental Health is the latest episode in the Podfest For Mental Health programme. Recorded for Mental Health Awareness Week, the three hosts of this popular, honest and often hilarious podcast came together to talk about maternal mental health and their own experiences of parenthood.

Joined by Counselling Directory member, Beverley Hills, the What I Wish I Had Known crew explored some of the challenges around motherhood, negotiating the first few days after birth and the impact having children has had on their perceptions of their own bodies as well as their relationships.

As well as this special episode of What I Wish I Had Known, you can also listen to other podcasts recorded at Podfest For Mental Health including episodes of I am. I have with You, Me and The Big C co-hosts Deborah James and Lauren Mahon and The Naked Professors with Jordan Stephens.

Two more Podfest For Mental Health episodes will be released this week; The Book of Man (Thursday 16 May) with Aldo Kane, Luke Ambler, Phoebe Torrance and Martin Robinson and a panel episode of Happiful Magazine’s I am. I have with CEO of Mental Health Foundation Mark Rowland, Vlogger Grace Victory, Actor and Producer April Kelley and Journalist Yvette Caster.

All five podcasts were recorded at Podfest for Mental Health; in front of an audience at Kings Place in London, organised by Happiful Magazine and Counselling Directory.
