Ant McPartlin is returning to rehab, following recent arrest
The much-loved TV duo will be a member down in the final two shows of ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway which are scheduled for 31 March and 7 April.
After his involvement in a vehicle collision in London on Sunday, Ant McPartlin has made the decision to step down from his upcoming TV commitments. McPartlin is reported to be taking time off while he seeks further treatment.
Ant McPartlin is crumbling before our eyes. Seriously hope he gets help before he becomes another statistic.

This incident comes after a difficult year for McPartlin, who has publicly spoken about his battle with alcohol and addiction to prescription drugs. After spending time in rehab, he returned to work with in November 2017 to join co-host Dec (Declan Donnelly) for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
On the show, the long-time friends even joked about his whereabouts.
In January 2018, it was also revealed that him and Lisa Armstrong would be separating after 11 years of marriage.
It was at the National Television Awards, where Ant and Dec were the big winners, that McPartlin spoke honestly, saying “I love working with him and that was the one thing… I had a very tough summer last summer, I had to face up to a lot of things and my one thing was just getting back to work and getting back to work with my best mate, we done it.”
THANK YOU!!!

“Ant has decided to go back into treatment and step down from his current TV commitments. He has spoken with Dec and ITV today and asked for time off for the foreseeable future. As such ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ will not be going ahead this Saturday.”
Sending wishes to ant on a full recovery. Addiction is very hard to overcome and I have worked within that sector a long time so I know.. I hope he gets the full support that is needed and we see him back on the screens soon 💚💚💚

Coping with addiction
If you’re concerned about a loved one’s behaviours, or even your own, know that you’re not alone and support is available.
There are many reasons why a person can become addicted to something. Often is it a habit which they are no longer able to control, a way of coping with the pressures of daily life. Whether it be an addiction to drugs or alcohol, sex or gambling, there are options available to help you identify what causes the addiction, and how to overcome it, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) or hypnotherapy.
Find support near you using Counselling Directory or Hypnotherapy Directory.
